Dr. Natalie
Dr. Natalie received her Veterinary Medical Doctor degree (VMD) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and her undergraduate degree in German and chemistry from Hunter College in New York City.
Following graduation, Dr. Natalie honed her skills in practicing general medicine, surgery, and emergency care at one of the top 40 referral
veterinary hospitals in the U.S., the Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center under the great mentorship of its wonderful owners and colleagues.
She couldn’t wish for a better, more nurturing work environment, but being a cosmopolitan she felt something was amiss and so she decided to move back
to beautiful New York City to enjoy all that this epicenter of culture has to offer!
In 2006, Dr. Natalie moved to Greenwich, Connecticut, to work for Greenwich Animal Hospital. For the next six years, besides seeing appointments and practicing
medicine, she was the only full-time veterinary surgeon, performing in-hospital surgeries (minor and major), including spays/neuters, abdominal surgeries/tumor
removals, dental procedures/extractions, and even occasionally reconstructive surgeries on animals who suffered disfiguring injuries.
In addition, Dr. Natalie
was the only staff veterinarian performing abdominal ultrasounds. Through the years she enjoyed working with all the wonderful patients and their parents and
many of them became a part of her family, along with most of the wonderful supporting staff without whom she couldn't do what she did.
In 2012, she started on her own to continue to do what she loves to do most helping animals and their owners to have the best and the longest life they can have
together in GOOD health!
Being a house call veterinarian seemed to fulfill that calling by enabling Dr. Natalie to offer a more personalized care and for her patients and their families to enjoy the convenience and quality of service in the comfort of their homes.
Dr. Natalie makes full-service veterinary house calls for dogs and cats. She will thoroughly examine your furry family member from head to tail, addressing every minute detail so that you can be fully informed on the health status of your pet friend and, if interested, can fully participate in his/her health-care management. All necessary feasible in-home treatments your pet requires, as well as annual vaccines, blood work, and other feasible lab tests and diagnostics will be performed by Dr. Natalie right in your home. All treatment options will be discussed with you either right away or via phone/e-mail (whichever you prefer) at a later time if you happen to be away at the time of the appointment. There won’t be a task unfinished or question unanswered!
You will be completely informed of everything that your pet needs prior to the procedure. Each recommendation will be individually tailored to your pet, his/her lifestyle and hence his/her needs. Your pet and you will only receive the recommendations and treatments that are absolutely necessary and that will benefit BOTH of you by prolonging the quality of life of your companion and helping you enjoy your furry family member for as long as possible.
Dr. Natalie's PRIMARY INTERESTS include general medicine and surgery, geriatric and pediatric care, hospice care, pain management, behavior, and nutrition, as well as client education. She also strongly believes in the great effect of acupuncture and homeopathy, when appropriate and done right.
